Homogenization method and its application in computational materials

【Abstract】

<正> Homogenization method is an effective technique for multi-scale analysis of physical properties of material and structures. In this paper, the basic idea of homogenization method and its application in computational materials will be introduced. The homogenization-based method for predicting properties of composite materials, local stress analysis of composite structures, material design with specific properties and structural analysis of engineering structure with multi-scale characters, are presented. Some application examples of homogenization method are given in the end of this paper.
