Boundary Type Fast Multipole Boundary Element Method

The boundary type Fast Multipole Boundary Element Method(FM-BEM) was proposed, in which the Fast Multipole Method(FMM) was applied in the computation of the influence coefficients of the boundary integral terms. Different from the computation of the coefficients of the domain integral terms, its key point was the reasonable decomposition of the fundamental solution. In the case of the fast solution algorithm, the Generalized Minimal Residual algorithm (GMRES(m)) was used for both of the two kinds of computation. The computation and memory requirement were in proportion to the nodes freedom. For the subject with freedom N=34008, some numerical computations had been implemented, among which one example was given.
