<正>The movements and consequent tilt induced on the rear section of a tandem warhead due to blast effects of front or precursor section were investigated from initiation up to 900□s using coupled 2D and 3D numerical approach.The numerical values of momenta and forces responsible for the movements and their directions were also calculated.The remapping facility of Autodyn was invoked to map the 2D data into Euler-FCT processor of Autodyn 3D.The results showed that observed momenta and forces magnitudes are indeed significant to induce such movements during static firing of tandem warheads.The results also showed that for our system, the displacement and tilt rates were significantly reduced after 600□s.By applying this approach to a particular warhead design,a designer may decide about appropriate delay for static firing test.
