STUDY ON THE MECHANICAL STATE OF CONCRETE UNDER PENETRATION AND THE DECELERATION OF PROJECTILE

【Abstract】

<正>The concrete under penetration experiences a restricted deformation and is in intrinsic friction state.Using conservation laws of mass,momentum and velocity on wave front,the velocity field of the pulverized zone near penetration is determined. The boundary conditions and the continuity conditions are also considered in the determination of velocity field.The fracture of pulverized concrete near the penetration is described by Mohr-Coulomb criterion.Based on the conclusions reached above,cavity expansion theory and the expansion equation of inconsistent deformation,the resistance of projectile is determined in intrinsic friction state. Based on the differential motion equation,the deceleration model is built which can describe different phases of penetration and perforation.The decelerations of projectiles with different size and different velocity are calculated and compared with experimental data.
