【Abstract】

<正>Underwater explosion is an important way to damage ships.There are many difficulties in both experimentations and theoretical analyses to study underwater explosion,and thus,numerical simulation becomes a powerful tool to study the underwater explosion effect.When the threat(i.e.the mass of explosive) is given,it is necessary to predict the damage effect to the double bottom construction,which is always adopted in large ships.Interactive Non-linear Dynamical Analysis Software AUTODYN-3D is employed in this paper to study the dynamic response of thin plates subjected to underwater explosion.The results of simulation and experiments are compared to ensure the validity of simulation.Numerical simulation of damage effect to double bottom construction by underwater explosion is carried to understand damage characteristics.
