【Abstract】

<正>The experimental investigation of the impact of high velocity projectile on a free-free beam was conducted by one-stage light gas gun.Based on the trajectory of free-free beam recorded by high-speed photography system,the relationship of its systemic velocity with projectile initial velocity was analyzed.Meanwhile,by the recovery of beam,projectile and fragments,the deformation and damage morphology of free-free beam impacted by projectile with various initial velocities was studied.And the effects of projectile initial velocity on crater dimensions,loss factor of projectile mass,total number and mass distribution of fragments were also investigated. The dynamic behaviors of free-free beam impacted by projectiles were simulated by the nonlinear finite element program,LS-DYNA.Based on the analysis of local damage patterns and effects of beam induced by projectile impaction with various velocities,we obtained the regulations of the beam and projectile velocities, accelerations and kinetic energy changed with initial velocity.
