<正>Concrete is one of the most widely used materials in engineering.The concrete dynamic properties under impact load and its residual properties after impact loads are studied in this paper.The mechanical behavior of cement mortar is experimentally studied,and the effect of lateral confinement on its properties is also investigated using an SHPB with high pressure oil chamber.It is found that the properties of the mortar depend on the loading rate and lateral confinement.The residual properties(modulus and strength) of the mortar are also significantly affected by the strain rate and the confinement pressure.It is experimentally found that the reduction percentage of properties induced by the m~(th) impact is obviously larger than that induced by the n~(th) impact if n>m and the both of loading conditions are same.Furthermore,a damage accumulating model is proposed to describe the residual properties of cement mortar.
