【Abstract】

<正>By a transformation of the velocity component normal to the body surface, the unsteady continuity equation is cast to a formally steady one.With this transformed equation,criteria of three-dimensional fixed separation in unsteady flow are kinematically obtained.It is found that the fluid density at the separation line on body surface varies exponentially with time,and other criteria of unsteady flow separation remain the same as the steady separation, if viewed in the transformed velocity space.Using numerical methods,the computational results of density distribution along separation point(2D) and separation line(3D) for compressible unsteady flows are found in agreement with the theory.
