A NUMERICAL ANALYSIS IN PIEZOELECTRIC FAN SYSTEMS FOR COOLING OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES

【Abstract】

In this study,a piezoelectric fan cooling system was investigated.In order to find the proper geometry and configuration of the fin which is consisted of a piezoelectric fan system,a numerical model for the flow field and heat transfer were used.Transient solutions for piezoelectric fan's simplified periodic nonlinear deformation were obtained by adapting dynamic mesh and user defined function capability.For make the comparative data,the scale and motion of a piezoelectric fan was imitated with a small sized piezoelectric fan.
