<正>The autogenous shrinkage of high strength concrete is a serious factor to increase cracking risk of concrete structure.The relationship between the strength development and autogenous shrinkage of fly ash concrete with different water-binder ratio was investigated in early hydration age.The results show that autogenous shrinkage and strength of concrete containing fly ash decrease with the increase of water-binder ratio, but quasi-linearly decrease with the increase of dosage of fly ash.Autogenous shrinkage of concrete with various mix proportion consists of a rapidly increasing stage in the first hydrating day and a gently increasing stage in the later time.The shrinkage performance of concrete may be predicted through its mechanical property. Originality The originality of this paper lies in the investigation on Autogenous shrinkage of concrete with different water-binder ratio and different dosage of fly ash and looking for the relationship between Autogenous shrinkage and mechanical property of concrete. Then the shrinkage performance of concrete may be predicted through its mechanical property.
