【Abstract】

<正>A new triple mixing method(TM) was developed to realize surface-coating of aggregate with pozzalanics materials for further improving microstructure of interfacial transition zone(ITZ) of recycled aggregate concrete.In this research,effects of mixing method on strength development of recycled concrete were investigated Moreover, influence of surface-coating of recycled aggregate with various admixtures on ITZ microstructure was also discussed.It was found that recycled concrete performance could be further enhanced by using TM,as compared to that of the triple mixing method (IM) developed by Deyu Kong et al.Moreover,the micro-structural results show that the coated pozzalanic particles can consume Ca(OH)_2 accumulated in the pores and consequently form new hydration products,which can not only strengthen the recycled aggregate,but improve the microstructure of the ITZ,thus further enhance the strength of recycled concrete. Originality In this research,a new triple mixing method(TM) was developed to realize surface-coating of aggregate with pozzalanics materials for further improving microstructure of interfacial transition zone(ITZ) of recycled aggregate concrete.
