Hydration and Performance of CFBC Fly Ash Compound Mineral Admixture

【Abstract】

<正>A new type of compound mineral admixture was prepared by using CFBC fly ash and slag power.The hydration of compound mineral admixture was researched by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD),alkalinity of pore solution,differential thermal analysis and hydration heat analysis,and the effect of fineness.chemical composition and contents of CFBC fly ash on activity index,mortar fluidity and the compatibility of cement and admixture of compound mineral admixture was also investigated.The result shown that the active of CFBC fly ash and slag power could be excited mutually,which promoted the generation of ettringite and hydration calcium silicate(C-S-H),CFBC fly ash with low C/(?) could improve the strength of compound mineral admixture;The strength of the compound mineral admixture reduced with the increase of CFBC fly ash content,but the content of CFBC fly ash was within 30%,which had little effect on the strength of composite mineral admixtures,even improved the strength,and the 7 days activated index were both above 55%,28 days activity index were both above 75%;The mortar fluidity of compound mineral admixture decreased with the increase of CFBC fly ash content,but the ratio of fluidity were both greater than 95%when the content of CFBC fly ash was within 50%.The ground CFBC fly ash could improve the mortar fluidity of compound mineral admixture,and promote the early strength of compound mineral admixture,but reduced the compatibility of cement and admixture. Originality In this work,we studied compound mineral admixture by using a new kind of industrial waste residue and the existing mineral admixture,slag powders.It can reasonable use industrial waste residue,and solve the existing problems of lack of high-quality mineral admixtures.At the same time,due to CFBC fly ash has the porous structure,and high content of calcium and sulfur,which will limit CFBC fly ash used in concrete,however this experiment can make full use of calcium and sulfur of CFBC fly ash,and stimulate the activity of CFBC fly ash and slag powder,also improve its fluidity.And so far the preparation of compound mineral admixtures by using CFBC fly ash and slag powder is almost no reports in china and abroad.
