Leisure agritourism development is an important way for regional agricultural industry to realize diversity, ecology and efficiency. The environmental analysis and evaluation of leisure agritourism is conducive to guiding regional leisure agritourism and leisure market consumption. At the same time, it can promote industrial structural optimization, and implementation of economic revitalization, and bridge differences between urban and rural development. Based on the “production-living-ecology” theory, the paper constructs an assessment system of suitability for the development of leisure agritourism and takes Yangtze River Delta Metropolis Agglomerations as example. At last, the paper draws the following conclusions. (1) The suitability of leisure agritourism development in Yangtze River Delta Metropolis Agglomerations shows relatively clear regional differences. And specific indicators, including air quality, regional tourism leisure atmosphere and the environmental protection input, are the key factors of suitability for leisure agritourism. (2) The suitability of leisure agritourism development has obvious spatial differentiation characteristics in Yangtze River Delta Metropolis Agglomerations. The overall suitability shows the “π” shape and reticular hierarchical spatial structure. (3) The paper conducts an empirical test on evaluation indicator system and finds that it is reliable and accurate. (4) The paper divides the regional types of leisure agritourism development into those who develop by strengthening their advantages, tapping their potentials and promoting in coordination.
