【Abstract】

<正>Introduce of case:Male,68 years old.He fell down from a tractor on 30,may,1989.He had a pain in his right hip and could not walk.X-ray examinations showed a communited fracture in his right acetabulum with femoral head came into the pelvis. The hip were corrected completly after 3 month skeletal traction.But 4 months later,his right femoral head came into the pelvis again.Physical examinations:The right leg was 4 cm shorter.The hip could not moved and had no signs of organ and vessel injuries.We thought that the femoral head and neck had been burried in callus.Open reduction was not suitable.Total hip replacement would be the safe and simple methord.Methods:The joint capsule were incised crossly through S-P approach.
