Transitional section between ballasted track on subgrade and ballastless track on bridge is the weak part in railway. With the speed increase and modernization of tracks, more and more attention has been paid to it. In this paper, based on vehicle-track coupling dynamic theory, models of transitional sections are established. With practical measures for transitional section, analysis work is carried out on dynamic response with different vehicle speed and travelling direction. Finally, suggestions are put forward on the design and operation of transitional section in high-speed railway of our country.
