【Abstract】

<正> Current progress of electric technology requires the development of new piezoelectric crystals with improved thermal stability of frequency and large electromechanical coupling factors. For application as bulk acoustic wave (BAW) and surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices with a high coupling factors and zero-temperature coefficient of delay (TCD). La_3Ga_5SiO_(14) with the Ca_3Ga_2Ge_4O_(14) type structure are currently the most promising materials since it exhibit piezoelectric properties intermediate between those of quartz and LiTaO_3 There are several reports with regard to the crystal growth and the descritptive piezoelectric properties
