【Abstract】

<正>Microstructures evolution, mechanical properties, transformation behaviors and shape memory effects of low niobium content (5at.%) NiTiNb shape memory alloys were investigated. It was found that the amount of Nb resolved in the NiTi matrix is closely related to the Ni/Ti ratio and has significant influence on the mechanical properties, especially the yield stress of the alloys. Ti45.2Ni49.8Nb5 and Ti45Ni50Nb5 alloys exhibits as excellent shape memory effect as the equiatomic binary NiTi alloys.
