<正> An accurate and fast dose calculation algorithm in patient is a center concern for the treatment planning in radiation therapy. Recently, a hybrid pencil beam model is developed for electron beams and shows to be promising for clinical applications because of its fast calculation speed and with high precision. The purpose of this study is to carry out a series experiments to verify the accuracv of the model for clinical electron beams in water, since 70% of human body are consisted of water.
