【Abstract】

<正>A new algorithm of discrete element is introduced in this paper with its basic principle and major calculation formulae given.And calculations has been carried out for examples and practical engineering problems by our own programs.The results showed that the method proposed in this paper is effective on solving the discontinuous problems of rock body stability. Compared with other discrete element methods,our method is unique with its characteristics.
