【Abstract】

<正>In the present study we validated isolated mouse aortic rings for isometric force measurements and addressed pathways by which PGE2 causes vasodilatation and vasoconstriction. Phenylephrine (PE, 10-5M) followed by Acetylcholine (ACh,10-6M) was added at the start of each experiment to test the viability of the smooth muscle and the endothelium, respectively. All experiments were conducted in the presence of the COX-inhibitor Indomethacin (5×10-6M).
