<正>Platelet derived growth factors (PDGFs) have long been considered important in fibrotic disease and in cancer, by promoting proliferation and migration of connective tissue cells,e.g. fibroblasts, smooth muscle cells, and glial cells. In recent years, two novel PDGF family members, PDGF-C and PDGF-D have been discovered, and we are focusing our major efforts in the structural and functional characterizing of the biological functions of both factors.
