<正>Anisodamine, an anticholinergic drug, is widely used in China for treatment of acute circulatory shock but mechanisms of its action are not fully known. In this study we aimed to investigate whether the therapeutic efficacy of anisodamine in the treatment of endotoxic shock could--at least in part-be brought about by its activation of the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway. Thus,we investigated the effect of methyllycaconitine (MLA), a nicptinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) α7 subunit antagonist, on antishock action of anisodamine in LPS-induced shock.
