<正>Angle-genesis, the formation of new blood vessels, plays a central role in the physiology of revascularization subsequent to myocardial ischemia and in diseases such as metastatic cancer and diabetic retinopathy. In an effort to rapidly discover clinically useful angiogenesis inhibitors, we created and screened a library of 2,687 existing drugs for inhibition of endothelial cell proliferation using [3H]-thymidine incorporation.
