【Abstract】

<正>Voltage-gated K+ channels (Kv) play an important role in regulating contraction of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) through their effects on membrane potential and on voltage-gated Ca2+ channel activity. A number of voltage-gated K+ channel (Kv) genes has been identified and cloned in vascular smooth muscle tissues.This molecular diversity underlies the different proterties of native Kv channels that regulate the excitability of vascular smooth muscle tissues.
