【Abstract】

<正>Objective The purpose of this study was to examine the association between genetic variants in the natriuretic peptide(NP) pathway and blood pressure(BP) responses to the dietary potassium intervention. Methods GenSalt study participants were from Han Chinese families of six rural villages in northern China.We conducted an additional potassium intake(60 mmol/day) intervention at the last 7 days of 14-day dietary sodium supplementation(60 mmol/day) among 1842 individuals in 620 families.BP was measured before and after dietary potassium intervention.A total of 66 Tag singlenucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) based on HapMap data were
