<正>Leprosy is an ancient spectral disease caused by infection with obligate intracellular and non cultivable Mycobacterium leprae(ML).Leprosy prevalence worldwide isaround 200.000 new cases per year,and ML targets mainly skin and peripheral nerves resulting in deformities and stigma.Spectral pathology and severity of the disease are related with the hosts’immunity involving the interaction of dendritic cells(DC)with T cells.An essential point to be explored is the efficiency of viable ML in maturing DC to activate T cells.In the present study,we stimulated monocyte
