【Abstract】

<正>Dendritic cells(DC)are and T cells are found in multiple subsets in human tissue.DCs sample invading pathogens via an array of surface C-type lectin receptors(CLR).They then process and present antigen to CD4 T cells which are the key HIV target cell. Thus DCs are able to deliver the virus to T cells which, depending on the T cell subset, either results in productive or latent infection.Different anogenital tissues are likely to contain unique combinations of both DC
