<正> This work introduced the current situation of the development of domestic and foreign rare earths(RE) industry , discussed the strategic position of RE industry in China, analyzed the problems existing in the course of RE industry development, made strategic thought about the transference from resource advantage to economic advantage, and put forward strategic suggestions about the development of RE industry in our country.
