【Abstract】

<正> Inhibitors of HMG-CoA reductase are potent cholesterol -lowering drugs. However, accumulated evidence suggests that stains not only act by lowering cholesterol levels, but also exert pleiotropic effects on many essential functions including anti-inflammatory potents. In the present study, we investigated the effect of Rosuvastatin, a new HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, in the development of the intestinal ischemia-reperfusion mucosal injury in rats.
